Queenscliff Cemetery Tours

Let Queenscliff’s pioneers guide you through the historical sections of the Queenscliff Cemetery and visit graves where storytelling and interaction with costumed interpreters will transport you and your family back in time. Talk to James George Baillieu, Dr. John Birrell, Anna Maria Dod, Henrietta Augusta Dugdale, Miss Mary Elizabeth Jones, and Dr. David Williams and visit graves of many more other notable Queenscliff people.

Terms & Conditions: The History Alive Tours are suitable for a range of ages, however patrons under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and parent discretion is advised. Please note that with some tours, a fair amount of walking is required through the old sections of the cemetery, on a range of different surfaces including grass and gravel which may be uneven and have restricted wheelchair access in some pathways. To ensure Tours are completed on time, and all patrons experience the interactive element to the Tours, patrons are requested to stay close to the tour guide. Please note that tickets are not refundable except in the event that the Trust cancels a Tour – at which time all patrons will be notified in advance and fees will be refunded. As these Tours are performed outside, it is recommended to dress for the forecasted weather and if needed, bring your own umbrella. Your booking can only be confirmed once payment is made. All personal information provided will not be used for any purpose other than to book the Tour. Tours are strictly alcohol and drug free. The Trust reserves the right to refuse entry to those under the influence and those behaving in a manner that may disrupt the Tours. The tour guides and actors receive a fee for their service, and any funds remaining from this program will be used for future memorial restoration projects as determined by the Trust.
