Geelong Cemeteries Trust has Blue Tree sculptures at Geelong Memorial Park and Gisborne Cemetery.
These sculptures are part of the Blue Tree Project, a mental health awareness charity. Blue Trees are meaningful conversation starters, visual reminders and symbols of home.
A Blue Tree is typically dead before being painted by the community, although in these instances they have been locally made and installed as enduring symbols. These sculptures stand as an acknowledgement and recognition of mental health within the Greater Geelong and Macedon Ranges region.
Geelong Cemeteries Trust warmly welcomes all within our communities to visit the Blue Tree sculptures at these locations.
