At Geelong Cemeteries Trust, we are committed to providing compassionate, respectful and inclusive services for our communities. We understand that people come to us from many different cultural and linguistic backgrounds, and that access to clear information is an important part of supporting families during significant life moments.
As part of this commitment, our Services Information Guide is now available in five community languages: Arabic, Swahili, Karen, Punjabi and Farsi.
The guide provides an overview of who we are, the services we offer, and how we support families. It also outlines the range of options available, including burial and cremation choices, memorialisation and pre-planning services.
We recognise that different cultures and faiths have unique traditions, customs and expectations when it comes to end-of-life care and memorialisation. By providing information in multiple languages, we hope to make it easier for individuals and families to understand what we do and how to access the support they need.

While this is an important step, it is only the beginning. We are committed to continuing to listen to and learn from the communities we serve, helping us ensure our services remain respectful, responsive and appropriate for all.
