Overview of Cemetery
Beeac Cemetery is a peaceful resting place in the gently rolling landscape of a small rural town.
Overlooking cemetery lake, this location is set out in a formal geometric layout with sections for each religious denomination.
Each ANZAC Day, flags are raised at this location to honour the bravery and sacrifices of those who have served our country.
What we offer at this location
This location was established after the residents of Ondit came together at a public meeting in 1869 and decided that the area required a cemetery.
The land was divided into five religious denomination zones, remaining in this layout today.
It was originally known as the ‘Ondit and Cundare Cemetery’ until the twentieth century, when the name changed to Beeac Cemetery.
Our friendly client services team is here to help and welcomes any questions you may have. Caring for our communities is what we do best.
