Thank you for attending Geelong Cemeteries Trust’s Annual Public Meeting on Friday 8 December 2023.
The meeting was a wonderful opportunity for the Trust to share an update on projects and operations over the past year, recent achievements and major projects planned.
Attendees heard from our Chief Executive Officer, Dean Matthews and Trust Chair, John Mitchell.
We were also delighted to present three local bereavement charities with a donation, from funds gained through the Metals Following Cremation Recycling Program.
Geelong Cemeteries Trust Chair John Mitchell presented The Compassionate Friends Victoria, Hope Bereavement Care and Wombat’s Wish charities each with a donation cheque.
These charities contribute highly in the care, support and counselling of individuals and families in our community who experience loss and grief.
